Our church is named after our patroness, St. Margaret of Scotland. She is the example of a Christian ruler, a faithful wife and true mother, devoted to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and renowned for building churches, caring for the poor and children orphaned by wars. She died in 1092.

CCD Sunday School Registration for the 2014-2015

Please drop by the Parish Office before September 7th, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1pm to 4:30 p.m. to register.

Cost: $70-one child, $110-two children, and $150-family of 3 or more.

  • A copy of your child’s Baptismal Certificate should be attached to the gold Sacramental Request form unless your child has been baptized at St. Margaret’s. Please note on the gold Sacrament Request form if your child was baptized at St. Margaret’s.
  • Public school children who will be in Grade 2 or older and would like to receive First Holy Communion, please register for regular CCD classes and fill out a gold Sacrament Request form available at the tables. There will be additional monthly Sacrament Prep. classes beginning in September. Catholic School and Home Schooled children should register for the monthly First Holy Communion Prep classes. The first class begins Tuesday September 23rd from 6:15 p.m.–7 p.m. in the Parish Hall. Parents should plan on attending this first class.
  • Students who will be 15 years of age by May 2015, may register for Confirmation – please fill out a gold Sacrament Request form. All Confirmation Prep students should register for Sunday CCD classes beginning on September 7, 2014.
  • All children attending CCD, Catholic Schools, Home-schools, and Private Schools should register with the Religious Education Office by August 31 for sacramental preparation through the parish of St. Margaret’s. Children attending Catholic schools are expected to receive the sacraments here at St. Margaret’s if they are registered parishioners. They may also participate in their school celebrations of First Holy Communion after first receiving the sacrament at their registered parish of St. Margaret.
  • Sacrament prep is a two-year process. Students should have one full year of religious education immediately prior to their sacramental prep year in either in CCD, Catholic School, or Home School Program. Students transferring from other parishes should have written documentation of their religious ed participation record.
